Best output method?

I am redoing my tank with a 3d background and want to find out the best output method for my filtration. I have a fx5 and xp3 and use spray bars. I will probably keep the spay bar on the xp3 for surface aggregation but wanted to do something different with the fx5 coming through the background.

Does anyone have any ideas, and/or could show me your setup?

Does everyone use spray bars? Or just an open pvc pipe?

you could use the powerjet attachment that comes with the XP3 instead of the spraybar for even better surface agitation and leave the FX5 as is.

that would work also.
