Title says it all. My lent is not eating and I don't want to introduce live food. So asking about pellets. I have tried bloodworms, tubifix, market shrimp, brine shrimp, shrimp pellets etc.

Lepidota is eating bloodworms like there is no tomorrow but this lent well just sniff and that's it:(

I use a mixture of massivore, nls extra large, extreme pellets, and omega one.

My sveni took months before she would readily take pellets in the open. For a long time I am sure she was taking them, but not "attacking" them and wouldn't eat them in front of me. I used blood worms and a couple other things till she came around.

I use hikari cichlid gold, omega one and massivore, tilapia 2 days a week typically. Although that's for n Oscar, who eats anything

Start off with Hikari carnivore. It seems to have something that triggers fish to eat better than any other brand of pellets IME. Once it takes to pellets then switch to NLS

I shove pellets into chunks of tilapia, helps keep a well balanced diet. Also all my fish seem to go crazy for Omega One Marine Pellets w/garlic.
Have you tried feeding at dusk or dawn, or with low lighting some fish are shy eaters.

This lent is a bugger's and his behavior is baffling me. Roam in the tank like a king but not touching any food.

Bought Omega One cichlid pellets but  showing no interest.
