It's very hard to find any information on this because most people don't like to keep them. The are borderline what you guys consider Monster fish I understand but anyone out there know what's the best PH for these cold water fishes.

I just did a test and it's at 7.5, maybe higher if possible. Is that good because they recommend that to gold fish and I think they like cold water too.

Any help is appreciated, oh and is PH really that important.

I would go test a large lake or pond and try to duplicate its quality, if it is known to have healthy fish that is. Im sure some of the pros can give better advice though:)

Find a place that has the same species you have and test the water, it is probably in the neutral range. I think your water is probably fine.

It depends on the fish, trout tend to come from softer, slightly acid water, pup fish come from hard and alkali water, Blue gill adapt to almost everything. If you are catching fish and keeping them just check where you caught them.
