Title pretty much says it: more acidic? basic? Any info please guys. I always keep my tank neutral, 7.0, and want to see if they will like it better lesser or higher?

acidic is best. But rays can adapt to wide variety of ph. A stable PH is more important than a lower ph. People even breed rays in hard water.
Thats perfect Mike. My water used to be much harder than that and ive never had a healthy
ray not acclimate to it. Ive read and seen pics of motoros breed in 7.8 ph
My water is at 8.5. No breeding rays yet, but I did have that tiger do very well for me.
I believe rvrrays water is fairly hard too (from what I remember, I could be wrong) and he is breeding his motoros
