My friend recent showed me something he came across in his browsing, flame moss. This stuff looks killer, but the only site he found it on (aquariumplantsandsupplies.com), has it for something like $10 for a 2x2" piece. Theres cheaper moss on that site, but is this the typical price for moss? I have zero knowledge of aquascaping. Is it very difficult to maintain? I have crazy ideas of a moss floor for a tank, but I don't want to get too carried away before knowing the facts.
Best place to buy moss? Also, moss questions.

Quick question about the moss. How do you get moss to grow around driftwood? Does it have to do with temperture?
Redcrane on Aquabid, I've bought java moss from him a couple of times, his portions are extremely generous and the moss was excellent.
