Best place to buy tiger oscars

I'd prefer not to buy from massive chains so if anyone knows somewhere reputable to buy from let me know. I'm in ny.

Pretty much any fish store you go to will have them. Just pick one that looks healthy. The massive chains and the LFS probably get them from the same distributor anyways.

I was referring to a small guy not so much a big distirbuter. But I'll look around. I haven't always heard positive things about livefishdirect though. P

Where is New York are you? There are a few mom and pop shops in Manhattan if you're close enough.

honestly for a tiger oscar i would go to a local mom and pop shop...shipping wouldnt be worth it becuase honestly you dont know what the fish will turn out like anyway. Personally i would like to go to the lfs and pick out the best looking one becuse you never know what they will send you in the mail

and like said before pretty much all the places are going to be supplied by the same mass producers so most important thing is to see O for yourself and pick the healthiest looking one, unless you want to order a wild one or something from rapps, but if you are going to get just a tiger O then best bet would be to see O for yourself first hand

ya the only way i would order a oscar offline would be a wild one from particulary Rapps
