I'm setting up a couple of decent size tanks right now and need rock. The local landscaping places have flagstone, but not much else. Anyone have any suggestions of online vendors to find dry rock, lace rock, Texas holey, etc? Or maybe suggestions of local businesses other than landscapers that might carry unique rocks (don't have to be the ones listed above). Thanks!

well, I don't think they gonna do shipping for rocks if you don't buy a few tons! the shipping cost will be more than the price of those rocks!
PS: wrong section, you should ask mods to move this thread to general aquaria!

Some landscape supply yards have rocks you can use in the aquarium. My local rock yard had some Mexican bowl rock. It looked very similar to the bowl rocks they sell in the pet shop exception with an orange tint. It was only 28 cents a pound. I'm switched to Malaysian Driftwood now because my eel moves the rock and it hits the bottom pretty hard sometimes.
