New Holland
hi ive got some big fish, i've now got to get rid of them i have a big red tail cat 2ft long, pacu 20 inches long and pleco about 19 inches long in one tank and in my other tank i have a pangasius, tiger shovelnose, plecs, couple of oscars and a parrot fish and 6 walking catfish. i'm gutted to have to let them go but i also can't let them go to anywhere that won't be suitable for these fish

Not to sure what u mean by letting go. You diffently DO NOT want to release them back into the wild. The best thing to do would sell them or give them to someone else. Craigs list or maybe even a LFS would be a good start.

what i mean is getting rid of them, i wouldn't even think of letting them go in a river thats not what i meant. what is craigs list and LFS and how could i contact them

Thats good to hear that your not going to release then in the wild. Craige list is a free online site that allows you to sell things like the classified adds in a news paper ( www.craigslist.com ). and LFS is Local Fish Store. You could also post on this forum in the buy/sell section.

It might be due to my horrible geography knowledge (blame the American education system? :D) but where is New Holland (I know where Holland is...)? Do you have public aquariums there that you could contact?

Two thumbs up for asking. Call your local zoo if your still stuck sometimes they can recommend a place that will take proper care of them. If you are near an Aquarium call them. You have show type fish.
