I've had no problems with Glasscages, but other people have, so just be wary.
I have a Tenecor acrylic 330 gallon "ultra rectangle" with the "simplicity package", meaning it has an internal filtration chamber hidden behind a false back. The aquarium itself is well-made, but I do not like this chamber- it is very difficult to clean and maintain, due to its narrow aperture, the placement of the braces, its great depth, and the design of the canopy . I really wish it were plumbed for a sump instead. I also do not like the acrylic stand and canopy; if I were you I would go for a wood or metal stand instead. I am going to build a new canopy this fall, but I'm just going to have to live with the stand.
So in sum, Tenecor are pricey but well-made, just don't get the simplicity package. Glasscages is cheap but has an uneven reputation.
