Greetings Community!

I'm looking for good places to purchase fish in Columbus, Ohio and the greater Columbus area. I already go to Jungle Island and Aquarium Adventures. Any other suggestions? I'm mainly looking for larger freshwater fish such as catfish.

Thanks in advance,
Kurt

jacks aquarium at easton MAY have large fish that ppl have brought in. Are you interested in peacock bass? and how big of a fish are we talking?

I'd say I'm looking for fish under one foot in length (at least 5"-6"). I mainly am looking for catfish and other larger freshwater oddballs. I'd be open to other species, but I'll need to do some research. I don't know much about bass so I'll have to do some homework.

jacks at easton is probably your best bet ... eric is the guy to deal with there, tell him justin sent you and he will keep an eye out for anything you may be looking for

some of the petland's around town have some larger fish from time to time

also, out east of town there is a place called RJ's in hebron ... just a little mom and pop shop, but they order as many oddballs as they can, and their distributor is pretty good
they also take trade in's on fish, so you never know what they may have. often you can find 10-14" cats and other cool stuff.
that being said, its a far drive for most people, so i always call, and they are super helpful on the phone
