whats is the best plant for nitrogen control and oxygination? its going to be circulated water with a waterfall for air but i wud like to add some nice plant to supplement.

water hyacinth or water lettuce will reproduce fast and are great with nitrogen

Iris pseudacorus (yellow flag iris) is good too but would require more work than hyacinths or lettuce because it's a marginal instead of floater. I believe they also use Scirpus Californicus for natural water treatments.

Cabomba sp., Vallisneria, pondweeds like Eloda or Ancharis are good submerged in the pond.
