best plants for cichlids

i have a severum and a couple angels was wondering if i could get some tips on what kind of plants to use in my tank... oh and i just got a couple clown loaches if that effects anything

Severum are famous plant eaters so the easy answer is plastic. Anything with soft leaves will be eaten. Java fern might make it and maybe some Anubus. Most others Ludwigia, Water Sprite, Crypts, Vals are all on the menue. An Onion plant should work also. I'm sure someone else has tried others and will hopefully answer too. Sevs are really tough on plants.
