Best Polypterus For Beginner?

i was thinking of getting a species of these monsters... any suggestions on what type polypterus i should get for a polypterus newbie?

What size tank do you have? Senegals and palmas stay small are hardy and can be relatively cheap. Not too aggressive too ropefish are cool too, if you're into something more active. Much thinner though and don't have the bichir vibe imo. Endlis are also hardy, but get huge

Just buy what u like. just make sure the size is more than 4" and health, polypterus is strong and eazy to keep even for beginner

All species of bichirs are good for starters. As long as you can provide home and proper care for the fish. They are not a hassle to take care.

Best Polypterus for Beginners? Any of them is good if you have the space for it. All Polys are very easy to take care of unless you over stock your tank with them.
