Best pool filter sand?

I want something that is a natural greyish-white

I bought quikrete but it was redish-brown.

And I'm going to take the quikrete back to home depot.

Go to a pool shop. Here in SoCal I go to Leslie's and there pfs is off white.

Leslie's PFS is 50 lbs for about 10 bucks.

+1 on the Leslie's PFS #20. It costs me $12 for 50 lbs. Even grain size, not too coarse, just enough weight to sit undisturbed for easy cleaning.

The quikrete i got at lowes was way darker before i put it in the tank and trust me it is very natural looking it is exactly like the color you are wanting.

I second that bag of sand. Though mine came out extremely white and not near as dark as the posted example pic. I added a 5lb bag of pet store black sand and it looks (to me anyways) pretty snazzy.
