I want to get a Power Head for my 75 Gal Tank that has 4 Red Bellies and some Plecos, I don't want one that will make a lot of noise, Also am I able to leave it on all of the time or do I need to only run it for a couple hours a day? Thanks

Let's start with this question first. What exactly do you want to accomplish with a powerhead???

Well I ordered the Hydor Koralia Evolution 1050, I spoke with the company direct and they said for my set up they would not go more then the 1050 and really recommended the 750. Guess well see.

BodyDub, I never seen your reply in till after I ordered, I just am looking to get some water movement and I hear it's good for the fish, that they enjoy swimming in the current.

I had the 750 on my 75G at one point and well, it did move water. So I'm sure the 1050 will suit your needs just fine.

It stopped working after about a year and I replaced it with a Vortech MP40. I like gadgets.

aquaclear 70 or a pair of them would do. penguin 1140s are good too. i have both and really like them.

It should be here today, Hope it works out.

I have the 1450, awesome circulator, I would have went with the 1450, it will be fine and if u upgrade tanks you won't need a bigger one.

Well the power head came in, The fish seem to be staying toward the bottom of the tank out of the PH, I have it set so most of the flow is in the top half of the tank, The flow is decent, I would not say it is to little but could be a touch more.
