I want to pick up a 150 gallon aquarium 60x24x24 and want something that’s 10 to 20 inches long and streamlined like a Payara with big sharp teeth any ideas for one big centerpiece fish with some other smaller fish that won’t get eaten. Or should I get a pair of Zebrina Pike Cichids? If so what should I have with them? If non of these would work any suggestions for something that will? For all community tanks there needs to be a cleanup crew like pleco or snails. Price does not matter. Also i want there to be at least one fish with lots of vibrant color.
Thank You!!

You could maybe go with a odoe pike they get to around 11 inches but it will limit your stock a bit to mostly fish from africa or aggressive fish

Hydrolycus scomberoides is your fish. They can typically be had for less than $70, they never get larger than 10" and they have some of the most impressive fangs in relation to body size of any payara.

It needs to live A minimum of 10 years scombs do not live for very long in aquariums Odom pike are cool but I like the South American fish

Hydrolycus tatauaia is your fish, plenty have been kept a long time, have a nice color, big fangs, and don't readily get over 16"
