Best Prepared Food for Largemouth Bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't think any prepaired food is really easier to ge them on but they might prefer something softer at first like flakes, small pellets or soft pellets. I feed mine Omega One cichlid pellets.

Start with some worms or worm like things first. Then move onto some like frozen bloodworms or something of the sort. Then move onto frozen shrimp. Then maybe freeze dried shrimp and then try the pellets. It will be easier that way because he will gradually get used to more "dead" things.

My 2 LMB ones they where added was eating pellets like crazy then i thought might give him some live food so i gave guppies and then goldfish and how his not eating Eather. I think hard to count how many babe guppies i have. His looking alittle starved. But i cant get him to go back to pellets. :( should i try other means?

ive had 3 bass in my expierence they never ate the first day i got them, but i did try a ghost shrimp and they go CRAZY for them. Try ghost shrimp "live". Lets us know how it goes....

Oh u cant edit post? lol sorry for the missing letters. But Ghost shrimp are funny i had some and they keep jumping out. Ones i saw my bass jump out of the water one night. guessing he was going after some shrimp.

Mine eats Omega One, and Cichlid Bio-Gold. They should make fish-food stamps.
