where is the best place to buy 55 gals? i think it will be to hard to make a bunchi need six 55's and eight 100 gallons for a good price ideas?

Can we ask why you need so many tanks of those sizes?
Also look at ebay I was on there the other day and they had I think 8 40 breeders for like 300. But they were in ohio so doesn't help you to much. But I still would look at ebay and craigs list. You might find some good deals here also in the buy sell board. But you'll be hard pressed finding alot of tanks this size in one place for sale for a good price.

Go to your LFS and talk with the owner, they can and usually will get them for you at cost, as long as you have a good relationship with them and buy stock from them from time to time. My LFS gives me almost everything at cost, or 10% over their cost depending on the item.

yea my LFS has them at a price thats ok but still more than i would pay going to glasscages.com on 55's.
100gal with 5' are hard to find now! and there all 180+ even if i get 8!
