I picked up a used 95g or so acrylic corner tank a little while back and it's pretty scratched up on the inside. What's the best product out there to remove scratches and clean up that tank? I've seen the Novus 3-step stuff but I'm not sure how effective that is on large scratches. I think lifegard also makes a kit that supposedly is better at taking out deep scratches. Anyone have experience with these or advice? Thanks in advance!

If you can't feel then with your finger nail Novus 2 and 3 works great, Try 2 if they are too deep then use 3. Always use 2 after 3.

You can also test fill and see if the scratches are visible. Most aren't when the tank is filled.

I concur, great product!

X3 on the Novus products.....did a great job on my 300....

I used Novus on my 750 it did a great job. Some of the real deep ones I can still notice because I know where to look but I really didnt want to start sanding them out and screw up the clarity.

Ive heard novus are the best but when I filled my tank, they disappeared

A time machine :)

i used NOVUS PLASTIC POLISH on a tank that got scratched up by coral, and it worked pretty well but if that doesn't work i would try 3000 or 4000 grit sandpaper
