Best Return pump

hey what is the quietest and most energy effecient return pump, im looking for one for my 180 g currently i have a rio 3100 so something with similiar specs to that

never get via aqua pumps. to loud. i have a mag 12 on my sump and its makes no sound what so ever. a friend of mine uses the quiet one pumps and its dead silent.

I have a Tunze which I am very happy with. It is very quite and as I found out the other day apparently easy to fix.

i got the rio 3100 last week for my 225g and so far so good. Very quite. i have had a 2500 for over 10 yrs that i'm still using.

my rio 31000 make to much noise even with a sponge under it you hear a hmmmmmmmmmmm

aww man, im receiving my rio3100 pump tommorow, got it for $55 new, hope this thing is not loud, still using my 2500 atm.

why dont you try getting a better rio pump, like the hypeflow series, the rio 26H looks pretty efficient

And why dont you clean out your pump? maybe you got debri in there making the noise.

no its from the pump being old i think its 2-3 years old
