Best sand mix for south american theme

What types of substrates have you guys mixed. I'm trying to get a south american sandy rock look. I've mixed caribsea moonlight and sunset gold sands to make a pool filter sand look. Thinking adding pea pebbles and some medium to large mexican pebbles.

List some of ur mixes with a pic.

I added a few river pebbles in my 29 gallon with sand but Corydora covered the pebbles up while scrounging for tidbits lol.
