whats the best sealant for a plywood sump? the sump is a 60g cube. 2ft by 2ft by 2ft. what would be the best sealant for it?

If you've got the box built, go with an epoxy resin like West systems, you can also use SaniTred, PondArmor and a couple others. Do a search on here for ones already used.

If there is a boat repair shop near you, ask if they can put a resin coat on it next time they are repairing a boat it maybe cheaper.

If you haven't built it yet you should consider dmopar74 suggestion, if you can't find the size try a store that carries a different brand.

If the box is made right (no open corners, nice cuts, etc.) you could drylok it. Even after the drylok,id recommend putting silicone in it (like a tank)

yeah i sealed it up pretty good with silicone then im just gonna seal the plywood so it doent seep water out through the wood. so ill prolly go get some drylok and seal it up and see how it holds water!

did you silicone the plywood before you are going to seal it? if so i dont think you should do that, it wont adhere well to the wood. i think, im not positive though
