Hi, does anyone know what semi aquatic South American plants do best in a riparium/aquaponics system? I'm looking for ones that really pop out and get really full with big leaves, any ideas?
Basically all the echinoduros (swords) grow emersed and submersed naturally due to the alternate droughts and monsoons. Rubins and Ozelots are quite colorful and big. They like alot of light though.

Thanks, yah I heard swords are pretty good plants, they're definitely up for consideration. And no worries on lighting, I have a orbit marine LED lighting system, it's really bright. I also hear peace Lilly's are a good choice, and there's this one plant that keeps hovering in my thoughts but I'm not sure if it can be semi aquatic? It's called a Zebra plant (Calathea Zebrina). It really pops out.
