Best setup to prep Ice Fishing Tip-Ups?

I recently received a bucket full of tip ups, but they seem to have a cotton looking line on them. I want to set them up with some type of clear line. How do you guys have them set up?

i go with the gorilla brade 80# test or more. then if you want a clear presentation, tip it with a flouro carbon leader.

i agree i go with a heavy braided line then put a swivel with a fluorocarbon lead. i use 6 for rainbows and 17 for walleye on my leaders

i have tried the lighter main line, but that just cuts you. since it is done be hand you can play anyfish how you want after it is hooked.

I'm probably going to do a heavy line for the majority of it, then ~6 feet of a clear/stealth one down to the hook.
