ok so i have threads asking if i could do a bichir in my tank(answer yes:headbang2) and whats a good price for one(i still dunno) so now the question is what is the best starter bichir:confused:. i can get ornates, senegals/dinos, delhezi, so whats the best starter? i can order other species so anyone is good.

LOL, they are all pretty similar in care, only some get larger than others. what size tank? even without knowing...I would say a Senegal Poly would be best though.

u got a lot of threads..Senegal....Start searchin the forum there are a ton of threads on this question! petsmart is ur best bet even though its more expensive there for some reason

Honestly, as long as your tank is large enough, you should get which ever you like the best. They are all virtually the same to care for, only differing in size.

ok. ya i got a lot of threads, i broke my arm, what else am i supposed to do? i just am bored. i will be buying a senegal soon then;)

I agree, if you can keep one species, you can keep them all, there's no one species that is more difficult than another (and they are all pretty hardy). I'd recommend a del.
