Best Stingray Substrate for aquarium???

hello all, i recently upgraded to a 180Gal tank and i had stingrays before and now i'm considering to owning them again. i used to have silica sand which people said it's not good them.. now i want to know what kind of sand would be good for them.. i don't want to have very fine sand which it gets sucked by my strong filter..

I currently use pool filter sand with my rays.

i use a very fine pebble gravel not much bigger than sand

I use Estes sand. It's safe for rays, but it is pretty fine.....

from what i hear from people is that pool sand have chemicals in them and play sand is too dirty so not sure what is good..but if you said pool filter sand is what you used then i'll take that advise.

I'm using black sand or (black Tahitian sand) and it works good. i've used it for years..

Not all pool filter sand has chemicals. All you have to do is read the bag.
