I have a custom 300g that's impossible to reach the middle. I'm looking for a list of options.

Eartheaters
Giraffe catfish
Niger Catfish
Koi
Goldfish
Shubunkins

Anyone else have some ideas of good substrate turners? The tank has loaches and a mbu puffer so MTS are not an option.

Right now I have some 3 inch koi growing out in there. I'm wondeirng what my long term solution should be. I also have 1 4 inch female strendetchi eartheater.

Any cats that sift gravel like no tomorrow that stay under 14 inches or so?

Maybe perhaps shubunkins are my best bet.

Unless you're using a large grained gravel, I could pretty much guarantee you that half a dozen 6"+ Geophagus will turn over the entire surface area of your substrate several times a day.

Yes id recommend some geos too, fantastic for what you want mate.

Using sand, so yeah pretty much anything will work.

What I really want is probably some Juruparis. Or whichever the ones that have the nice spotting on the cheeks. However both kinds are labeled that in stores and it's hard to tell when they're small.

Any other eatheaters that are as laid back as the Juruparis?

I agree buddy, but he does say gravel but not how big,no idea if its big gravel, horrible stuff anyway,it just traps all the crap inbetween, sand is looooooaaaaads better
