I have eels, bichirs, and a midas. I have pfs and it's perfect, but food gathers in it like gravel and I hate that. I had play sand, but I read about it ruining filters. Is tile nice? Or any other opinions? Thanks!

I used the petco sand and it's great. It doesn't cloud the water and never had problems with it in the filters. I used it on three tanks.

I changed from gravel to aquarium sand, I have an FX5 external filter, so far I have no problems with the sand. I also use sponge filters (which I often think are better than canister filters when used with a powerhead), no problem with the sand here.
