Best subtrate

What is best subtrate to put in your tank to bring otu more of the pbass' color?? I was thinking river gravel.

i have river gravel but i would say that black sand with the right lighting is the best.

its more personal prefrance in this sorta thing, if u like the amazon look then river rocks. if u just want it to be cool then black sand kicks. otherwise anything works. but usually the more colored red/blue gravel is less natural and just childish.

Bare bottom back and bottom painted black, with large drift wood and bushy plants siliconed to rock. I think lighting is probably the thing that is most gonna show thier colors.

Black background and black substrate or painted black bare bottom, in conjunction with the right lighting and your Bass will POP.
