Best tank for a Silver Aro

I am looking for a 240g or 250g tank and i was wondering what one of these would be good for him. I have seen one that was 950$ for a complete package(tank, stand, heater, filter, sand, air stone, and pump) and was wondering how wet/dry filters work and over flow. check this site and plz tell me what is the best tank for an arowana

72'' length, a 36'' to 48'' width and a 24'' height would do very nicely.

i would go with the half hex, bow front, or rect.

Just that width is more important than hieght.

Go for rectangular type....
best is 5ft(L) x 2ft(W) x 2ft(H)..........
Then your adult arowana will have sufficient space to move around

8x2x2 will do just fine or even a 180 you dont really need it that big. I had a 240 gallon and my old 29 inch silver had plenty of room.
