best tank mates for asian arows

I am picking up 1 or 2 RTG's in the next month. and am trying to figure out what tankmates to add with them. the tank is 84"Lx36"Wx30"D. i was thinking of some stingrays.

gars, pbass ,bichirs and rays would work well i have that combination in my tanks. Only thing is you wont be able to keep 2 asian aros together if you want a if you plan on a community set with aros problerly best to put 5 or more.

i agree. its very hard to keep two asians together on a single tank especially RTGs. anyway, you may also try flagtail and redhooks as tankmates but stingray for me is still the best.

White goramis would be good too, at the same time can assist to keep the tank algae free.

Flag tail, bichir, pignose, datnoid, sting ray ....those are just part of the list but theres theres others you can put with your arowana.

I have 2 pb (7"), 5 silver dollars (3"), a dat (7"), a tinfoil barb(9") and 2 motoro rays (12") with my HBRTG (9") in my 320g tank. They are getting along fine but I think it will be a little too crowded when they get bigger. I will be moving the pb and tinfoil barb to a 270g unless I buy another aro.
