Hello everyone!

Well, some of you may know about my 105gal aquarium I acquired many months ago. The aquarium is now cycled and the current fish (One 8 inch green Severum and two 9-10 Tinfoil barbs) are doing just lovely.

I feel like my aquarium could hold just a few more fish. Everywhere I look people with aquariums over a hundred gallons always stock it with more than 3 fish!!!

My Severum is quite mean---territorial that is. He doesn't try to completely destroy my barbs but they do seem to get on his nerves at times. Should he be in a tank of his own?

Any fish suggestions would be wonderful--they can be cichlid, catfish, eels, other--

How are Jack dempsey cichlids?

a dempsey should be fine, so would firemouths and gold saums

Any of the Thorichthys would be nice or maybe Herotilapia multispinosa which I reckon are pretty under rated.

Thanks Sajica, Motag 7 and Hende!

So a Jack dempsey wouldn't be OVERLY aggressive? I do love firemouths too..But thought they were too timid or something. maybe i'll try one.

Hey, Sajica, does Thorichthys fish have a common name? I would like to look into these fish but was wondering if they had a common name so perhaps I could research them better. The same for Herotilapia Multispinosa....

(Hende, I don't know about you but I'm in Texas)

Thanks a bunch!
