best tankmates for pbass?

so after a horrible death of my 3 monos I'm starting over. but this time i want a larger variety of amazon fish. I'm getting 2 3in monos and 2 3in tems. for now i have a 200 gal that they will go in but I'm in the process of building a 700+ tank which will be done in about 5 months. so i want to start growing out some fish. can the pbass be kept with red tail barracudas. if not whats your best suggestion for the coolest tank mates they could have.

sorry to hear that bradda... what went wrong? make sure it doesnt accure twice. as for cichla tank mates... as i always say and i quote " best tankmates for cichla are cichla." i dont know how long a red tail cuda will last.. they might become dinner before you know it....you will have to compair growth rates... remember even if you dont think he will eat it but he can wedge any part of it in his mouth.. its fair game to him......pike cichlids are cool too.. just remember most cichla's tankmates wont be tankmates for life because they dont get large enough
