best treatment for fin/tail rot

What is the best? right now I currently use melafix/pimafix but not really working I just ordered a bunch of triple sulfa. The fish are not too bad yet but something is going on. I have been doing water changes every 3 days or so because of nitrates fluctuating up and down

Melafix work best for wounds, not bacterial infections. Pimafix works as a preventive med rather than for cures. What are your water parameters? Are you sure the fins are rotting?

No ammonia to .25 whatever the first # on the chart is No nitrites and nitrates hanging between 10-20. There is some blood streaking in the fins of a couple fish and they are frayed up a bit. Everyone still eating like crazy though.
