Best underlayment for acrylic tank?

I'm getting close to putting water in my acrylic 210g What is the best underlayment for an acrylic tank? I picked up a piece of 1" thick styrofoam (the thinnest I could find) at the local hardware store, but I'm thinking this might be on the thick side? I'm concerned it will not compress evenly under the weight of my tank. What are you guys and gals with acrylic tanks using?

I spoke to the manufacturer about this when I bought my tank. They basically said it wasn't necessary and that plywood was all you needed.

make sure your stand is level...if it is, the force of the water will be even.

I use the pink 1/2" closed-cell styrofoam, also called Extruded Polystyrene Rigid Insulation... you can get it from Home Depot... cheap.
