Best Water Pump Brand Poll

Here is a poll on what you belive is the best water pump brand.

I voted little giant because mine has been a workhorse, but quiet ones are almost more appealing due to the fact that they consume less power and are much more quiet.

I know mag drive will get a lot of votes, and I'm not sure why! lol....

I only have experience with the two small TopFin pond pumps that I bought just for circulation. I am going to build a sump so I will need a better pump though, but just for circulation, they are pretty nice.

I voted little giant too. I have 3 and I've never had a problem with any of them ever.

Does anyone have an opinion on Dolphin amp masters? Thinking about getting one or two of them.

pentair aquatics makes some sweet pumps I am especially fond of the sea horse external models

true but eheim does not make large enough capacity pumps for what I need them

I know what you mean on that. I want to try one of their pumps but they're too small.


As far as all of the mag drive votes-------we aren't voting on the most likely to leak.

Is that mag drive leaking problem really as common as it's made out? They do sell alot of them, some are bound to be molded wrong from time to time, or is it just generaly bad build quality?

The only external pump I've used has been an Eheim. I'll keep out of this poll, should proove usefull next year though.
