i have two sens right now both about 2-3", was wondering what temp i should have the tank at for the fastest growth? The tank is at about 78.8 right now should it be higher?

There metabolism speeds up when temp is warmer so raise the temp but the key to growth is water quality so keep water pristine and fish will grow

^^^^ amen to that

Temperature is fine, I keep mine at 80F, not much difference. Heavy feeding(feed 'em until they bulge some) twice daily and frequent water changes(2 or 3 times weekly rather than weekly) are what I've found to accelerate growth the most.

Yep, plan on uppin the temp to 80F, i feed them 3-4 times daily and bi-weekly water changes. I plan on growth, growth, and more GROWTH!

Water changes probably make the biggest difference, low nitrates help keep the appetite strong.

I don't think temperature would significantly affect growth rate. But the amount of food they consume would.
