Best way of removing HITH?

Hi, my catfish has hole in the head and I tried to treat it using this blue powder chemical (sorry I do not know the name of the chemical itself). What should i try now, the salt method?

only thing that works is Metronidazole.. aka metrogyl aka flagyl..

So just constant water changes? I know my fish got HITH because I used to feed him feeders which was stupid of me but that was the only thing he would eat.

theres a lot of debate on the treatment..
either waterchanges and better diet..
or waterchanges, better diet and meds..
up to you which way you want to go..
