What is the best way to brace a tank? My 135g tank is old and has no center bracing. I was just planning on purchasing a new top bracing system from All Glass but I'm afraid that my glass sides will be too thick for it. I tried to silicone 1/2" acrylic strips but it bowed when I put the glass tops and light on it. The reason I am bracing it is my current glass top is all messed up and I want to replace it. I bought AG's glass top for it, but it needs two bracing strips for the glass tops to rest on. Any ideas?

Thanks mopar, but that is pretty similar to what the tank has now, a solid pane of glass in the center (although its not siliconed in, just resting on the front and back edge). I want to change the top over to having three hinged tops. In order to do so, I need to silicone in two strips for the tops to rest on. Any suggestions? Like I said earlier, the 1/2" thick acrylic strip I tried is bowing.
