if you have bulk heads you can just buy ca threaded cap and cap it....

No, teflon tape or pipe thread compound will work fine.
Also depends on the style of bulkhead fitting used.

I had 1 hole on the bottom of my 150g and 2 on the back... I capped them with regular PVC caps, then siliconed them. All that water, and its still holding strong.
