Im currently treating for ich and it involves twice daily water changes. When it is over with what is the best way to disinfect my buckets, and python water changers and thermometers?

I was thinking if throwing it all in my tub and soakinh in bleach water for an hour, then rinsing alot and alot.

Oooh thank you for the recomendation.
Is it commonly carried at lfs? Would online be a decent source?

Thank you for confirmng my logic tlindsey tlindsey .
Im liking the bleach idea since I can get that anywhere for dirt cheap.
Plus im willing to sun bath my equipment after the bleaching and rinsing to help break down the chlorine.

When using bleach, I usually have a second rinse bucket with Safe/Prime and than hang dry. I did have a bad experience using bleach once, I hadn't rinsed my net well enough and within minutes fish started flashing. I immediately did a water change and saved all the fish but some did develop some sighs of a burn over night, looked like fin rot.

Oh wow.
Thank you for that warning Wailua Boy Wailua Boy

I would use a chlorine based bleach. Must be Chlorine based. then rinse off with prime (or other chlorine remover) after wards.

Also make sure that you get one that doesn't have aromatics in it, so that usually means buying as cheaply as possible.
