Soo This isn't really a feeding topic because my beardie is eating like mad my problem is catching the crickets and getting them into the cage. Right now i have them in one of those small cage thingies with the lid. I was wondering is the kricket keeper really worth the money or is there an easier way to get them without them all jumping away from me

I keep my crickets in a 5 gallon aquarim with paper towl rolls in it for them to hide in. When I want crickets I just take out one of the rolls, tap it and all the crickets fall into a container. Pretty simple.

Great idea thanks :D

if you have a small cage or big fridge you could maybe put them in there for 10 min or so and chill them a lil so they dont hop around very much...not sure how well that would work or if it would hurt the ones that you didnt want to feed right away

ya thats what i do
but i used a critter keeper once and i had about 2 thousand crickets in it and it snapped in half. all the crix got out in my garrage. i noticed they die very fast when you spray bug spray around them. they start randomly jumping and twitching. kinda funny. but i would not use a critter keeper. try using a big plastic box. that way they cant get out and it stays cleaner longer
