I need to remove the aquarium rocks in my tank. I want to go clear bottom. Is there anyway that I can minimize the stress and pollution in the water? Any ideas and help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Do a real good siphon of the gravel first, then I used a clean dust pan one scoop at a time

If you are referring to anything up to regular size gravel, you can't beat a shop vac for that type of job. Cleanest way to do it, even when wet. If you are going to throw away the gravel (or even store it) you can line the inside of the canister with a heavy duty garbage bag. I've cleaned countless tanks this way. It is such a time saver, I have even bought cheap used shop vacs for large tank cleanups, and then disposed of them afterwards.

A shop vac or large diameter siphon works best. I've used the dust pan method as well.
