I am currently upgrading from my 55 gallon tank to a 125 gallons tank and plan on using 2 Fluval 404's for filtration. Does anyone have this same set up and can you let me know what is the best placement for the two inlet and outlet pipes. My initial thought is to have both inlet pipes in the center of the tank with one outlet at either end. Thanks for any help!

Hello, that's the way I have my 100 setup, the2 inlets in the middle and an outlet on each end. Oh and you might try changing your font color, it blends in a lot with the default background color.

Thanks! I noticed once I posted and it was too late to correct.

Are the heights of your outlets staggered? And what type of media are you running in your filters?

I have a 125 with a 304 and a 404. Both intakes and outputs are at each end of the tank. I trimed the intake tube so they only go about 6" down from the top. I use both Fluvals for bio only and dont want sand getting sucked in there. I've gone through too many propeller shafts! I'm very happy with the Fluvals and my setup.

I bought an FX5 for my new 180 and did the same thing
