if i bring in a product (laptop) that bestbuy can't repair and they tell me to choose a replacement do they give me a comparable product (1599 last year now 600 this year) or will i still keep my 1599 and just add if i want a better one or can i just get a store credit?

i had a best buy mp3 player a couple years ago that broke and when they couldnt repair it they mailed me a best buy voucher for the amount of my old mp3 player.
as long as you're still covered by the warranty, you'll get what ya paid for. so if ya paid 1600 then you can either get something of the same or pay the extra if you go that way.
laptops change almost every 6months so make sure you get at least the same specs.
