Milky Way Galaxy,
hey guys, Will this work or not?

OK! i will have one 5gallon(male tank) nd one 3gallon tank(female tank)

when i breed them i will put the female in the male tank. I think your sposed to leave the female and male in the tank so the male can make the nest, (this is all in the 5gallon) and then when he makes the nest and the female lays the eggs ill move the female back to the 3 gallon tank. When the fry are born and free moving i will move them to my waterfall part of my pond. Good Plan?

Idk about waterfall part if its like my pond .... But when the fry grew up wouldnt the males fight? (i dunno jack about bettas)

Whoa whoa whoa. Don't place the female directly with the male until some steps are taken. Ideally your suppose to use a betta breeding with glass dividers which is usually about 3-5 gallons and long. The male and female are suppose to be able to see each other without physical contact so that the female can fill herself full of eggs. You'll know this because she'll basically look like she's gourged herself on food. Until this happens and in the meantime the male should have built a bubble nest in a corner of the tank. Once the female is full of eggs you then take the female and place her with the male. The male will show aggression at first by chasing her around the tank till she finally submits to him and floats motionless at the top of tank. He will then wrap his body around her and squeeze the eggs out of her. He then will release her, collect the eggs and place them in the bubble nest. This will happen multiple times until he realizes there are no more eggs left. After that you can then remove the female and place her in a recovery tank. She'll be pretty beat up and depleted from the whlle process...............

You have some nice tanks for keeping bettas. If you want to breed start collecting tanks.Id say a 15 or 20 long for breeding and a few 20 long for growing out fry.And at least 50 jars or containers for growing out males.Be prepared to clean those daily.
