New to breeding betta fish, i am not sure what to make of the behavior between my two. The male veiltale is a bit larger than my female crowntail. They have been in a five gallon tank with divider for about a week and the male has made a bubble nest but the female will not engage. She just runs and hides when he shows aggression or nips at her and i wound up seperating them again. Didnt want to endanger the female. Please help.... what do i have to do?
