Not exactly sure where this should go...

I have a spare 10 gal at home and i have wanted a dwarf puffer or two since i started keeping fish BUT i also want to breed betta just for fun. SO i was thinking about splitting the 10 gal in two and having a 3 gal section for the betta and the rest for the puffer/s...
Any thoughts/ideas, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is always welcome :)

thanks

I thought dwarf puffer are brackish! they need salt... I dun think a betta would like it! even though they tolerate everythign!

nope dp's are full fresh

Dwarf Puffers are fresh i think you should just go with the puffers and if u want to breed bettas get a seprerate tank

dwarf puffs may try to commit suicide in a 7 gallon tank:nilly:

why do you say that?
i think i have read that minimum is 3 gal per. and if i have plenty of plants?

I got 3 living in a 10 gallon!
dun even worry about it!
I was thinking about 1 or two, not 3 :)

Are you planning on breeding the Bettas in that 3g half? I would just let the puffers have their own tank and get the Bettas another 10g to breed in. And you can put a divider in the 10g to separate the male and female.
