Picked this lil guy up from local pet store yesterday wondering what sort of age he is and how you think he looks. He was In a big tank with lots of other fish at the LFS and hiding under the filter. He's now in a 9 ISH gallon tank alone and will be staying alone. He's about an inch n a half long. I believe he's a crown tail. Water params are ph 7.6 temp is at 78 ammo nitrate 0. There is a filter in the tank that has little flow and is behind a rock wall so the tank is calm. Never owned a Betta so not sure what normal behaviour is only ever kept cichlids really and that was years ago. I am going to swap out the fake plants for live ones eventually. Any suggestions.
