hi guys ive just setup a 28 liter betta tank, so i got a air pump for a sponge filter that is rated for my tank but i really dont think that it has enuf flow for good filtration but i know that betta's dont like big water flow in thier tanks coz they are bubble nesters, i think the flow rate is adout 2 times the volume (above) of the tank? any thoughts

you should be fine, bettas dont like high flow. Now there will be some people on this site that will tell you that you need a 200g sump full of ceramic bio media (nothing els, all bio) and a 7,000 gph pump in order to have a healthy betta because some MFK's are just nutty like that. But your little sponge filter is fine
